We can organise a interpreter (free of charge for medicare eligible patients) through the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) or other appropriate services to support clear and effective communication during your visit.

To address high demand and reduce missed appointments, Cooby Family Practice has implemented a non-attendance fee policy.

If you do not attend your scheduled GP appointment without providing at least two hours’ notice, a non-attendance fee starting from $70.00 will apply, depending on the length of the appointment booked. This fee must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.

Fees may vary depending on the appointment type and the practitioner. Please note that our reception staff are unable to make decisions on behalf of the doctors regarding fee waivers or exceptions.
